The book is a compilation of eighty-five biographical/professional profiles of those Italian people living and working abroad, traced as direct proof by their protagonists and listed in alphabetical order by name and surname.
The book is a special and surprising document due to the single life and work events narrated in it. It may be considered as a reference book about the economic, cultural and social history of the different realities of the Italian people abroad and the introspection of studying the psychology of a people, the Italian people, who became integrated, could make itself known and successfully flourish in the world.
Texts realization and work production:
The texts were collected and worked out by the Associazione Culturale Pragmata after contacting all those institutional and cultural corporations for the Italians abroad all over the world, like Embassies and Consulates, Italian cultural and teaching institutes as well as cultural, economic, professional and regional associations, through which it invited the Italians living abroad to take part in such initiative.
Presentation of the book:
The official presentation of the book to press and public will take place on 7th April 2010 in Rome (Italy) in Il Carroccio hall at the Capitol. Institutional authorities and representatives of the world of culture and economy will take part in the event as well as the authors of the published stories who will be decorated with a keepsake pin and a participation certificate.
